Selling or Buying a Business in Jonestown and the Towns Around It

From Jonestown out to Liberty Hill and Bee Cave, we work with owners getting ready to sell and with people looking to buy an established business. We meet at our office or by phone and video. Once the deal closes, we check in to see how the handoff is going.

The towns we serve

Most of the people we work with are a short drive from Jonestown. That includes sellers and buyers around the lake in Lago Vista, Hudson Bend and Lakeway, and inland in Leander, Cedar Park, Liberty Hill, Santa Rita Ranch, Brushy Creek, Steiner Ranch and Bee Cave. If you're a little farther away, call us anyway. A lot of the work is done by phone and video, so the miles count for less than you'd expect.

Your sale stays private until you choose to share it. That's part of why we usually meet at our office or by video rather than at your business. Nobody on your staff, and none of your customers or suppliers in Leander or Lakeway, needs to see a broker stop by. Buyers sign a confidentiality agreement before they're told which business it is.

What sellers and buyers here should know

  • How we meet

First calls are by phone. After that we sit down at our office or on video, whichever fits your schedule. Buyers can tour a business later, once both sides agree it makes sense.

  • Seasonal numbers

Plenty of businesses in this part of Texas run hot and cold with the seasons. Summer heat and busy weekends can lift some months and flatten others. A valuation looks at full years of records, so one strong or slow stretch does not set the price on its own.

  • Permits and licenses

Many permits do not move to a new owner automatically. A buyer may need a new sales tax permit, a health permit for food service, or a new state permit to sell alcohol. We flag these early so the closing date is not held up waiting on paperwork.

  • Real estate in the deal

Some owners also own the building. Others lease. Either way, the lease or property terms shape what a buyer will pay. Our Business and Property Sales page covers how we handle both together.

  • After closing

Closing is not the end of our part. We check back with buyers and sellers in the weeks after, see how training and the handoff are going, and help sort out any loose ends from the deal.

Call us about your business

It costs nothing up front to list your business with us. You sign no retainer and face no hidden fees, and our pay comes only when the seller is paid. Buyers can sign up by phone as well and see new listings before anyone else.
